(Use this image when you need a reverse image for transfer projects, as with Iron on Transfers or Citra Solv transfers etc)
This weeks Iron on Image is another French one! This one has loads of fancy Spencerian Scrolls and the words "Cotton Toile" in the center! So pretty! This would look fab on Linen or Burlap, great for Flour Sack projects too! Of course you can use them for any of your DIY projects, like pillows, towels, signs, table runners and gorgeous on furniture pieces! The possibilities are endless so have fun with these!

DeleteAnother great typography!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteI am thoroughly enjoying your site. I have a question...some of your graphics say "Image transfer printable" Are they different than your usual posts? Also if I wanted to print something quite a bit larger like 12" x 24" or 18" x 36" is it going to be quite fuzzy. I wanted to enlarge one of your old world Santas. Would I just put it on a "stick" and take it to Staples or somewhere like that?
ReplyDeleteWC, The difference is that these are larger, they are sized to fit a full sheet of paper... so perfect for transfers! Try blockbuster.com to enlarge your graphic, it's free and easy to use! I have a tutorial on here, but you probably won't need it. The larger you make the image, the fuzzier it gets, so play around with the sizes to see what works for you.
DeleteThanks for your quick reply Karen...can you recheck that link, I'm getting a movie rental place when I go on it. Thanks
DeleteHa! Yes, you are right! I meant Blockposters.com. Here's a link to the tutorial http://www.graphicsfairy-diy.com/2011/11/how-to-transfer-typography-onto.html

DeleteYour site is amazing and your generousity overwhelming. Just need the extra corage to try my hand. You make it sound so easy.
ReplyDeleteThank you for all the sharings!
Thank you Teresa! Yes, give it a try, you can always test it out on a scrap piece of fabric or wood first, if you are nervous. It really is fun though!
DeleteThank you Karen! This is soooo perfect for one of my projects in our new home. The home is much larger than our townhouse and needs more TLC and I think this will be perfect on a little pillow sitting on an antique chair in my dining room. The chair covers at the table are toile and I think this will be so pretty. I am new to your site and have found so many perfect prints that I have BIG plans for here in our new home!!
ReplyDeleteThat's wonderful Pendra! I'm so glad you will be able to use this in your lovely new home!!
DeleteThank you ever so much for this graphic Karen. I am so in love with vintage French at the moment.
ReplyDeleteHow very helpful of you to provide the reverse image too.
Thanx again,

Thanks for your sweet comment Paula!
DeleteKaren, I was using one of your rectangular graphics and putting it on a large pail and was trying to figure out how a person accounts for the curve so that it goes on straight...any suggestions?
ReplyDeleteThanks
I've had trouble with that in the past too. I think it works better with smaller pieces, as the curve is not as deep.
DeleteSo generous and kind as always! Thanks for sharing beautiful images so tirelessly. You are truly one of a kind lady!
ReplyDeleteI found your tutorial to blow up images some time back and I've been using it a lot. It is amazing!
ReplyDeleteThanks for bringing us all the amazing graphics...it brings joy to us creative peeps!
