Time for a beautiful mantel

I’ve spent all week in the big, beautiful state of Texas – what a fun place to be! During my stay with a blogging friend, I instantly fell in love with her mantel – it was full of Graphics Fairy images…. what’s not to love? I just knew that you would love it as much as I do.
Lisa, from The Pennington Point, took all sorts of objects and embellished them with clock images, printed onto plain cardstock. How genius! From big to small, just sitting out or under a wire cloche, the entire collection looks amazing.
Like these little ones, just taped to old wooden blocks – can it get easier than that?
Besides clock prints, she also used an assortment of things found outside – like twigs and rocks.
I would have never thought to fill up a cloche with plain rocks – these are just garden variety, not the fancy designer kind sold in a mesh bag.
So next time you get an itch to decorate your mantel or another surface, just pick a theme, print it out and fill in the rest!
