This charming Dresser Project was submitted by Kristin Schjelderup, from Norway, via my Facebook Page.
This is the Before Photo. Quite a nice Pine looking dresser actually, with a great shape to it! Kristin brightened it up with some White Paint (Chalk Paint would be perfect here!) and then added the French Flower Seller Graphic, using a method similar to the Mod Podge Technique.
She also added some interest to this Basket Organizer, by adding the French Cacao Graphic to the top. Thanks for sharing Kristin!!

i love the dresser! what a white coat of paint can do!!!
ReplyDeleteI'd have to say I like the dresser much better in white. The graphics, of course, are the clincher! ~ Maureen

I'm so glad you all liked Kristin's transformations!
ReplyDeleteThank you all ! My great great grandfather made this dresser, many years ago, somtimes in the 1800. Through the generations it has been painted and then my mother used lye on it some years ago. Now it was ready for a new transformation :-) So this furniture has an affection value to me :-)

Beautiful transformation! And we both like to paint furniture white, though mine is more of a modern style. I think shabby chic when I see your projects. Very cool.
ReplyDeleteVotre travail est magnifique ! Châtellerault est la ville où je suis née !!!
